About me
Hi there! I'm Edward, and I've always had a deep love for the English language and the humanities. I studied psychology and philosophy at Rutgers University for my Bachelor's, and then went on to get my Master's in Organizational Psychology at NYU. I am also working on additional Master's degrees in theology and philosophy, which I find really helps me understand people and complex ideas better. In the near future, I intend to pursue doctoral studies in ancient and medieval philosophy.
What can I say? I’m absolutely in love with the learning!
I've been blessed enough to score in the top 1% on the verbal sections of both the GRE and SAT, which has given me a unique perspective on how to tackle these tests. I'm here to share everything I've learned with you, helping you to not only improve your English and writing skills but also to navigate the challenges of standardized tests like the SAT and ACT with confidence.
I named my tutoring service 'Sophia Tutoring' after the Greek word 'philosophia,' which means 'love of wisdom.' It's my goal to not only help you ace your exams but also to instill a deeper understanding and love for learning that will serve you long after you’ve left the classroom.
